| 1. Begin with a free in-home visit where we get to know each other, explain how we work with you, tour your current home, and get an overall impression of your move. |
| 2. We start our first sorting session using color-coded stickers to tag furniture you think you want to take; we measure and make a list of these items. |
| 3. We visit your new community to get a floor plan, measure the space, and digitally photograph your new apartment. |
| 4. Learn the community's move-in requirements to help you stay on top of their procedures. |
| 5. We create a custom floor plan with furniture templates. Using your furniture list and the photographs of your apartment, we lay out the living areas to make sure your furniture will fit. |
6. We review the floor plan with you to make furniture adjustments.
| 7. Continue 2-hour tagging and sorting sessions, room by room, closet by closet, to help you decide what to move and what to give to family/friends, sell, or donate. |
| 8. We coordinate with a professional moving company to best facilitate your move. |
| 9. We professionally pack your belongings using special boxes for dishes, collectibles, artwork, mirrors, & clothes - that we provide at no additional cost to you. |
| 10. We can contact appropriate utilities and "change of address" with the Post Office. |
| 11. We suggest (and purchase for you) storage products to maximize space. |
| 12. On Moving Day, we oversee the movers - guide furniture placement, unpack boxes and organize your belongings. |
| 13. Resettle your new home! Hang pictures, make your bed, set your clocks and TV, hook up computer, and arrange collectibles. We remove boxes and packing paper. |
| 14. After the move, we can help you arrange for an Estate Sale or liquidation, using a professional dealer to assess & price household items and conduct the sale for you. |
